Trevi was founded in 1972 by Clément Hudon, as a family business employing roughly 100 people who specialized in the production of above-ground pools. Over the next 20 years, the company’s success grows steadily and Trevi establishes an enviable reputation, standing out from its competition.
In 1992, Trevi is on a roll and goes on a n asset-acquisition spree, including those of Piscines Citadelle. In addition to above-ground pools, Citadelle was also a leading manufacturer of pool liners . Thanks to a number of strategic takeovers and a constant emphasis on quality, Trevi establishes itself as an industry leader in the production of above-ground pools and liners. At that time, Trevi also begins to manufacture its own liners for both above-ground and in-ground pools. Beginning in 2006, Trevi obtains a number of patents for innovative poll-manufacturing technologies.
At the turn of the century, Trevi is widely recognized as a Canadian leader in the pool manufacturing industry. The arrival of Benoît Hudon as General manager in 2001 marks a new beginning, and the 2007 acquisition of Cornelius Pools allows the company to broaden its product offering and to enter new and unexplored markets.
For the past few years, Trevi has developed an expertise in servicing big box retail outlets and specialized distribution networks. In 2009, at the dawn of a new decade, 37 years into its existence, Trevi reaps the benefits of its ever-increasing success by becoming the #2 above-ground pool manufacturer in the world. With operations and sales in Canada, the US and Europe, Trevi is always on the lookout for new opportunities and new markets.
